Q

Request For Approval to Conduct Research with the Foundation for Social Welfare Service (FSWS) – Assignments/Course Work

Overview

The Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS) adopts a procedure through which the quality and quantity of research projects conducted within it are regulated. Forms are used to collect information about research proposals.

The Assignment/Coursework Request Form is intended to be filled by students at any level who would be following some course, and who as part of their course requirements, would need to carry out an assignment or coursework, for which they would need to collect data (e.g. via interviews or questionnaires) from FSWS staff members and/or service users.

What you’ll get

Once the form together with other relevant documents (e.g. interview guide) are received by the Research Office within the FSWS, they are reviewed to check whether the assignment/coursework can potentially be accommodated by any of the FSWS service/s, and then forwarded to the relevant Service/s for consideration. Should it be possible to accommodate the request, the applicant is then informed via email on the way forward for a meeting or for further correspondence with the participants.
