Issuing of the 6 Monthly letters to all Pension groups
The Department of Social Security will be issuing the 6 Monthly letters to all Pension groups which will include the FS3 amount for the year 2020. The postage of these letters will be as follows:
- Retirement Pensioners: posted on 1st of March 2021
- Widow Pensioners: posted on 8th of March 2021
- Invalidity Pensioners: posted on 15th of March 2021
The 6 monthly letters will contain information about payments issued in the previous months (from June 2020) and the future pay dates along with the amount to be deposited up to June 2021. The one liner at the bottom of the letter will indicate the amount of pension earned during basic year 2020. It is to be noted that the 6 monthly letters are issued for those pension beneficiaries who are paid by direct credit. No SMSs will be sent to pensioners with the March payment.
