Payment of Social Security Benefits by Cheques

In line with Central Bank of Malta Directive 17 (5), those beneficiaries who are still receiving benefits payment by cheque issued by the Department of Social Security are kindly requested to provide their banking details to change their payment method from cheque to direct credit to ensure payments are received on due date.

This can be done through the Social Security website or by sending an email to social.security@gov.mt indicating the following details:
