Application – Monitoring
Overview
The primary objective of this service is to inform both beneficiaries and applicants about the status of their applications or benefits. This includes details on current and active benefits, as well as pending benefits that are under review and awaiting approval by the Department of Social Security over the past twelve (12) months.
What you’ll get
A list of any application or request for revision made over the past twelve (12) months. From this list, you can check whether your claim has been processed and see its outcome.
Exclusions:
- Retirement Pension: Tentative Assessment.
- Sickness Benefit: Blue Medical Certificate Claims.
The Department of Social Security has also embarked on visibility of status of the applications that can be monitored through the Citizen Portal. These include:
- Appeal against the Department of Social Security.
- Benefits Compliance Investigation Request.
Eligibility
General eligibility criteria:
- An active e-ID account issued by the Maltese government agency Identità.
How to access the service
The user must authenticate to access the Application – Monitoring service.
